Prigozhin said he settled the conflict with Kadyrov and his entourage

– Published on:

Wagner PMC founder Yevgeny Prigozhin said the conflict between him and the entourage of Chechnya leader Ramzan Kadyrov had already been settled. He told reporters that he talked about it with Kadyrov.

Earlier this week, representatives of the Chechen authorities criticized Prigozhin. In particular, deputy of the State Duma of the republic Adam Delimkhanov invited Prigozhin to meet in order to “face to face” solve “any problem”, and the speaker of the Chechen parliament Magomed Daudov accused Prigozhin of create moods of panic. Daudov also invited the Wagner PMC creator to meet and talk “like a man to a man.”

“For now, the conflict is settled,” Prigogine said (his audio commentary son press service of the company “Concord”).

According to Prigozhin, the leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, called him “on the same day”, and they agreed that they would “put this whole thing on the brakes”. According to Prigozhin, Kadyrov acted “with absolute wisdom”.

Prigozhin also said that “some kind of Kremlin tower”, which “suddenly decided to play dangerous games”, could be the cause of this situation. According to Prigozhin, “dangerous games have become commonplace in the Kremlin towers, which they have been playing for a long time.”

“They (the so-called” Kremlin towers “- approx. Russian media) today are simply destroying the Russian state,” Prigogine believes.

According to him, the next day, Russian President Vladimir Putin was to convene a council on inter-ethnic issues in order to “understand this situation, among other things”. Prigozhin explained that he did not speak out against the “characters” who spoke to him “roughly” because any of his responses “could be interpreted as incitement to ethnic hatred”.

“In Russia it has become so common that national minorities – they can speak out against Russians. And the Russians, they cannot speak out against national minorities with impunity,” says the founder of Wagner PMC.

According to him, “to date, the conflict is settled for the moment”.

About the defense of the Belgorod region

Referring to the situation in the Belgorod region, where shelling has recently become more frequent, Prigozhin admitted that the PMC he founded will come there.

“Of course, we will come to the Belgorod region and protect, I emphasize, the Russian people. Everyone who lives there,” said Prigozhin, who said this will happen if “Russia’s anarchy of seizing territories” is not stopped.

According to Prigozhin, the PMC Wagner will not wait for an “invitation” and “ask whether it is possible or not”, but they will demand ammunition.

Prigozhin had already spoken of “shell hunger” for several months, warning that the lack of the required amount of ammunition could lead to the abandonment of positions in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) (the Ukrainian name for the city is Bakhmut). In May, Prigozhin said his PMC units had taken Artemovsk (Bakhmut) under full control, later confirmed by the Russian Defense Ministry.
