In the Bryansk region the previous night, April 16, traffic was blocked by a huge traffic jam. Its length for the region has become almost a record – 15 kilometers, regional media report.
According to eyewitnesses, traffic jams formed on several sections of the road at the entrance to Bryansk. One was repaired before the bend to the White Shores along the M-3 highway. The other is on the R-120 highway near Orel.
Motorists stood in the lanes for a long time, unable to move forward. The probable reason is the return of the regional centers after the celebration of Easter. Traditionally, local residents spend Orthodox holidays with their relatives, with whom they go to spend the weekend.
