Al-Jazeera reported that an Egyptian plane was burning at Meroe airport in northern Sudan.

A military source in the Sudanese army in Marawi had said – on Sunday – that the rapid support vehicles fled from Marawi airport with a group of Egyptian prisoners on board, after the army managed to fully control it and captured a large number of soldiers and officers.
The source added "The media can come to Marawi Airport now that it is safe, and film our victory".
And the Rapid Support Forces had published earlier yesterday video clips that it said were of the families of a group of Sudanese army personnel, in addition to a number of Egyptian soldiers and officers at Meroe Airport.
