The Ministry of Emergency Situations held a lesson with the residents of Smolensk on climbing the assault ladder

In Smolensk, in Krasny Bor, at the sports base of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Smolensk region, courses were held with young residents of Smolensk, during which firefighters learned about children to climb the assault ladder.

As part of the sports lesson, the participants penetrated through the window of the second floor of the training tower, using for this purpose a 12-kilogram assault rifle. Firefighters Yuri Pikin from the No. 2 Specialized Fire and Rescue Unit and Artyom Sergeenkov from the No. 3 Fire and Rescue Unit acted as mentors in the classes. Answering children’s questions , the specialists talked about the nuances and features of the courses.

“The guys are eagerly waiting for the start of the 2023 sports season to show themselves in their best light,” the press service of EMERCOM of Russia for the Smolensk region stressed.
