And the market has changed a lot since then. If earlier the number of Chinese models sold on it was 6-9%, then according to the results of the first quarter of this year, according to the Avtostat agency, it was almost 39%. The same number of domestic cars are sold in the Russian market. They exceed the Chinese models almost individually.

Separately, it is worth talking about the new product from Hongqi. The name translates to “red flag”. This company has been producing luxury cars for a long time. And not only luxury, but also armored vehicles, intended directly for the head of state. Xi Jinping rides one. But they also have a line for simple but very wealthy car owners. And here is a novelty from them – Hongqi H6 – a five-meter liftback. It is equipped with a two-liter block with a capacity of 245 hp, allowing you to accelerate to 100 km/h in less than 7 seconds.
European manufacturers also paid attention to the exhibition. Volkswagen presented a new ID.7 electric car with a range of up to 700 km. Mercedes – EQS electric crossover SUV. By the way, this is the world premiere. But Tesla decided not to participate in this show.
