Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

EU ambassador to Sudan assaulted in his home

The embassy of the European Union in Sudan was attacked, declared the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, on his Twitter account. He condemned the attack as a flagrant violation of the Vienna Convention. Borrell also noted that ensuring the security of diplomatic premises and personnel is the primary responsibility of the Sudanese authorities and an obligation under international law.
