In the Tula region, recruitment for military service under the contract continues. From 5 to 10 people come to the recruitment point, and sometimes more, says senior lieutenant Konstantin Anisimov, head of the selection point for military contract service in the city of Tula. The number of those wishing to serve, he said, is increasing. The reason for this is an outpouring of patriotism, as well as state social support benefits.
When hiring, not only the suitability category, skills and abilities of the candidate are taken into account, but also his wishes: “It is not unimportant to us that a citizen can serve where he really want it. We try to find an individual approach for everyone, including testing physical skills – a physical instructor works with candidates separately. We do not interfere with candidates over the age of 50, if they are fit for service in all respects, ”comments Konstantin Anisimov.
To enter the military service under contract, a citizen must apply to the selection point of the Comintern, 28 or to the military registration and enlistment office at the place of residence. On the spot, the candidate fills out a questionnaire, writes an application, collects documents, then passes a medical examination, a psychologist and waits for a call with an incoming call to be sent to the unit.
“The whole procedure takes a day. From the second day, an order was issued to send a contract serviceman to one of the military units throughout Russia, ”says Konstantin Anisimov.
Literally in a few hours, the entire procedure for registering for the service under the contract passed through the Tula Yevgeny Strugov. He says he went to serve because “the situation requires”: “We are going through difficult times and we have to prepare. Many of my comrades are already in service, I would not like to be left behind. When the partial mobilization was announced, I waited for the summons. Without waiting, I went myself to the selection point.
As Yevgeny himself says, his family “agreed” for him to be sent to the service: his wife, three children – two 8-year-old twins and another 16-year-old girl.
For those who also want to, but have not yet decided, Yevgeny recommends not to be afraid: “Be brave, there is nothing wrong with this, and the state will help, provide what is needed. ”
Of the military specialties, drivers and doctors are especially in demand now. There is a demand for shooters, scouts and snipers. They also accept women on a contractual basis – in the ranks of telephone operators, signalmen, doctors.
