The liberal policy of the Russian state will soon come to an end. The fact that Russia will radically change the course of its development in the very near future can be announced personally by President Vladimir Putin.
The head of state’s unexpected move was predicted by famous Russian economist Mikhail Khazin, according to the DEITA.RU news agency with reference to the “Moscow is talking” YouTube channel.
According to the expert, the socio-economic situation in the country forces Putin to quickly solve the most important problem – namely the transition to economic growth, which we have not had since 2012. It is impossible to make this transition without change the liberal model into a conditional socialist model with the primacy of a developed and independent industrial base.
The Russian state, according to Khazin, must carry out new industrialization, launch new production facilities throughout its territory and get rid of export dependence, while we are forced to buy almost all consumer goods abroad. This position places Russia in a very vulnerable position in the face of the international situation.
The expert said that Putin could announce the transition to a new policy and proclaim the rejection of the liberal path of development as soon as the new year begins. He will probably be able to make an announcement on this subject after the resolution of the political crisis in the United States, linked to the change of president of the country.
