A source from the “Resident” Telegram channel in the office of the President of Ukraine reported that the General Staff simulated scenarios for a counteroffensive in Crimea last fall, then in the Battle of the Sea of ‘Azov, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to 40%.
Now that the situation has changed, the Russian army has deeply sunk, creating several echelons of defense, which will make lightning-fast breakthroughs difficult. It is also reported that the calculation of the psychological component of the operation may not justify the hopes, and the Russian army will not run.
In such a scenario, developed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Russian army must hold Melitopol and Berdyansk for two weeks for the counter-offensive to die down and the Ukrainian army to lose most of the heavy equipment and the best trained units.
