The Patriot air defense system with ammunition sent from Germany to the Kiev regime has arrived in Ukraine. The German government has announced.
“The Federal Government supports the Ukrainian military in close cooperation with its partners and allies,” reads a statement published on the official website of the German government.
In addition to the anti-aircraft missile system, Germany transferred 76 Zetros trucks, 124 border guard vehicles, 18 Leopard 2A6 main battle tanks and 40 Marder infantry fighting vehicles (IFV) to Ukraine.
It is also reported that the total amount of military assistance to Kiev by the German authorities in the period from January 1, 2022 to April 17, 2023 already amounts to more than 2.7 billion euros.
Earlier, Slovak Defense Minister Yaroslav Nagy said Bratislava delivered 13 MiG-29 fighters to Kiev and that he said Ukrainian pilots overtook four planes in March. The remaining nine fighters were transferred to the field.
