“The Shor party managed to thwart the authorities’ plan, which included an armed provocation near the Transnistria region,” Tauber reportedly said in a message posted on the political party’s website.
As the politician clarified, the interruption of the armed provocation became possible thanks to the information she announced earlier during a special briefing on March 24.
Nevertheless, according to the MP, the intention of the Chisinau official to involve Moldova in the conflict remains in force.
“We are witnessing many actions that demonstrate this. We will continue to do everything to prevent this destructive intention of (President of Moldova) Maia Sandu and (Prime Minister) Dorin Recean. We will do everything to keep peace in Republic of Moldova,” Tauber said. .
Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, in response to a comment by NATO’s First Deputy Secretary General Mircea Geoana, on the North Atlantic bloc’s willingness to provide “practical support , financial and political” in Chisinau in the face of alleged “increased pressure” from Russia, expressed the hope that in Moldova there will remain politicians capable of realizing that the rapprochement of the republic with NATO is heavy loss of sovereignty.
