110 ex-militants who joined BJP were members of National Democratic Front of Bodoland

Guwahati. More than 100 ex-militants joined the BJP in Assam’s Karbi Anglong district on Tuesday, showing the BJP’s growing strength. The ex-militants were ex-cadres of the National Democratic Front of Bodoland and the entire group was led by Naveen Chandra Bodo.

Speaking on the occasion, KAAC Chief Executive Tuliram Ronghang said, “A total of 110 former NDFB members have joined our party today, giving us a new strength.” He then welcomed the new members to the local BJP office.

Rongthang then said that the party would be strengthened not only in Karbi Anglong but also in the nearby West Karbi Anglong and Dima Hasao districts. For your information, let us tell you that Horen Sing Bey of BJP is currently the Lok Sabha MP from there, and represents three districts.
