Ukrainian military personnel continue to prepare for a future counteroffensive using Western technology. Footage of combat training of units of the 47th separate Mechanized (Assault) Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at one of the training grounds, presumably in the Zhytomyr region, appeared on the web.
Images show M2A2 ODS Bradley infantry fighting vehicles just received from the United States, still in their native desert camouflage. We have already written that Bradley ODS previously delivered to Ukraine are repainted in pixel camouflage, taking into account the terrain. In addition to US infantry fighting vehicles, the photograph shows M-55S tanks received from Slovenia. To increase survivability, obsolete vehicles are equipped with additional dynamic protection “Contact – 1”
Judging by the footage, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are gradually gathering a shock fist for a future counteroffensive. Today it was reported that six Leopard 2A4 tanks and several M113 armored personnel carriers were sent from the Spanish port of Santander in Poland for onward transfer to Ukraine. German, Polish and British tanks have already partially entered service with the Ukrainian army.
At the same time, many military analysts believe that such a variety of military equipment will not guarantee the success of the offensive, but will only complicate the combat operations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
