NATO Secretary General Calls Some Pentagon ‘Leaks’ Incorrect

The leaked Pentagon documents will not affect the actions of NATO allies in relation to Ukraine, because “some of these leaks are incorrect and they are manipulated”. On this subject declared Jens Stoltenberg, General Secretary of the CNN Alliance.

“I don’t think they (the leaks) will affect what the NATO allies are doing with regard to Ukraine,” he stressed, repeating once again that more weapons and ammunition should be supplied to Ukraine.

Stoltenberg said reports of the alleged lack of air defense munitions by Ukrainian troops should prompt NATO to increase supplies, which will allow the Ukrainian armed forces to “return to their positions”.

“We recognize that a huge amount of arms, ammunition and equipment has already been transferred to Ukraine, but we need to transfer even more. Because we need to ensure that the Ukrainians can break through the Russian positions and take a position that allows them to liberate and return the territory,” said the NATO Secretary General.

CNN says the 53 “leaked” Pentagon documents were reportedly prepared between mid-February and early March and contain a wide range of highly classified information that “gives insight into how the United States spies.” on adversaries and allies.”

Some of the documents confirmed as authentic by US officials reveal the extent of wiretapping the US has orchestrated against key allies including South Korea, Israel and Ukraine, the channel said.

The secret Pentagon data leak became known in early April. The first photos of the documents were published in early March on the Discord chat platform, then they spread through Internet forums, Twitter and Telegram channels. The “leaked” documents, in particular, contained information about the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine, preparations for the Ukrainian Armed Forces counter-offensive, as well as the situation in China and the Middle East. On April 13, in a getaway case, the FBI arrested 21-year-old Air Force National Guard pilot Jack Teixeira. According to the American press, it was he who was able to start posting secret documents in a private Discord chat from February 2022, after which one of the chat participants posted them in the public domain. Teixeira was taken into custody and had access to the unauthorized storage and transfer of secret documents. The pilot himself does not admit his guilt. It also turned out that the telegram channel Donbass Devushka (“Donbass Girl”), which played a key role in spreading secret Pentagon documents on the web, was run by former US Navy soldier Sarah Beals .
