The State Duma of Russia has passed a bill allowing relatives of participants of the special operation to arrange holidays on credit.
The draft was adopted at third reading. It provides for the expansion of credit holidays for all co-borrowers, including parents and adoptive parents. Currently, only the spouse, children and dependents of a CBO member can take advantage of credit holidays.
If a fighter dies or is recognized as a Group I disabled or receives a severe disability, the credit will be reset to zero.
In October last year, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a credit holiday law, allowing payments on loans to SVO participants to be suspended. During the credit holiday period, military personnel are exempt from making payments and credit agencies will not charge late payment penalties.
