The May 9 Victory Parade was canceled in the Kuban in all cities, including Krasnodar. An exception was made only for Novorossiysk, the regional administration said.
“The Kuban May 9 Victory Parade will take place only in the heroic city of Novorossiysk. This decision was taken during a joint meeting of the permanent coordination meeting to ensure public order, the anti-terrorism commission and the operational staff,” the report said.
This decision was made by the Anti-Terrorism Commission and the Operational Headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory. In other towns and villages of the Kuban, only ceremonies of laying flowers on monuments and memorials will take place on this day.
In all the municipalities of the region, concerts will take place in courtyards reserved for veterans. There will also be events with the participation of military reconstruction clubs, the work of mobile “frontline brigades”.
Separately, it is noted that all places of mass stay of people will be checked. Public security and anti-terrorism planned during festive events.
