DPA: Scholz believes that Ukraine does not need new types of weapons Fox News

According to Scholz, Kiev now needs mostly the same weapons, but in large quantities. The Chancellor mentioned the supply of missile defense systems, tanks and ammunition. “This will remain the basis of what we must do in the future”, – quotes TASS chancellor.

One should be prepared for the fact that Kiev’s need for military assistance “could last for a long time”, added the German politician.

According to DPA, in this way, the German Chancellor has once again indirectly rejected the requests of the Ukrainian authorities, who want to receive Western fighters.


Earlier, Scholz expressed the opinion that the conflict in Ukraine could last for several years, until 2027. At the same time, he promised to do everything so that “there is an opportunity to continue supporting the Ukraine for as long as it takes.”
