A resident of Artemivsk (Ukrainian name Bakhmut) told Russian journalists how Ukrainian armed forces threw grenades into the basement where residents were hiding.
The man said the house he was living in had been turned into a firing post by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In this context, its inhabitants were forced to hide in the basement.
“There were seven of us… On March 22, they started shooting at us in the basement from a staircase, they started throwing grenades. There was a girl among us, she tried to explain that we We were civilians. But it didn’t work.” it helps,” recalls a resident of Artemovsk (Bakhmut).
According to him, the fighters of the PMC “Wagner” helped them to escape. All the while, as people fled their homes, they were shot in the back by the Ukrainian army. He added that luckily all seven people had survived.
