Lavrov: A twinning agreement between Nicaraguan Granada and Yalta is being prepared

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has announced the upcoming twinning agreement between the city of Granada in Nicaragua and Yalta. Such agreements are usually concluded by municipalities of different countries in order to strengthen ties and cooperation in various fields such as culture, economy and tourism.

Lavrov also noted that Russia is interested in the intensive development of relations between Nicaragua and Russian regions. In this context, he recalled the establishment of an honorary consulate of Nicaragua in Simferopol several years ago.

This agreement can have a positive effect on the development of the economy and cultural ties between the two cities, as well as contribute to strengthening the friendly relations between Russia and Nicaragua.
