The first conscripts of the Leningrad region went to serve

In the Leningrad region, the first group of conscripts was sent to the armed forces. Mikhail Ilyin, deputy governor for security in the region, spoke about it.

The conscripts have been sent to serve in small groups and on April 20 they will arrive at unit duty stations. The recruits received everything they needed, they also received electronic documents and bank cards.

Ilyin said conscripts from the Leningrad region would serve with dignity. According to him, they will be able to protect themselves, their families and the country. On April 21, the vice-governor plans to visit the units where the conscripts are.

Recall that the spring call for military service began in Russia on April 1. It will last until mid-July.

Earlier, The Eastern Herald of the Leningrad region reported that 1,400 employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Leningrad region will receive 18,000 rubles each.
