The 133rd China Import Export Fair ie Canton Fair is being held in Guangzhou, the capital of South China’s Guangdong Province, in three phases from April 15 to May 5. Till April 19, more than 12 lakh 60 thousand visitors came in the first phase. Participating enterprises and foreign merchants said that the effect of participating in the exhibition is better than expected.
After the change of epidemic prevention and control measures in China, the Canton Fair is held offline for the first time in an all-round manner. The first phase is from April 15 to April 19, with a total of 20 exhibition areas and 12,911 companies participating offline, including 3,856 new exhibitors.
Xu Bing, spokesperson for the current Canton Fair, vice president of the China Foreign Trade Center, said that at present the recovery of the global economy is slow, the growth of international trade is weak, and international flights are still not convenient enough. But, looking at the operation of the first phase of the 133rd Canton Fair, the exhibitors and foreign merchants fully affirm the impact of the exhibition.
