The United States believes that the risk of a conflict between Russia and NATO is very real

Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley said the risk of an escalation of the armed conflict between NATO and Russia is very real.

However, according to him, the Alliance and America do not want war with the Russian Federation. In an interview with Foreign Affairs magazine, he added that “Ukraine absolutely does not want the conflict to escalate”.

“Every day we calculate the probability of escalation in every action we take or in every action of the Russians, because the consequences of escalation are so severe and the consequences of an armed conflict between the United States and the Russia, or NATO and Russia, will be devastating for both sides,” concluded Milley.

He also said that the United States of America will do everything to prevent the strategic alliance between China and Russia.
