Russian government did not support State Duma Deputy Mikhail Matveev’s plan to switch to daylight saving time, reports RIA Novosti with reference to the corresponding conclusion.
The text of the conclusion indicates that the documents of the bill do not contain data on the volume and source of financing of expenditure.
Moreover, the main technological and organizational measures necessary for the transition to summer time were not indicated.
“The Government of the Russian Federation does not support the bill,” the conclusion reads.
Earlier, Mikhail Matveev said that he had submitted a draft law on the return of summer and winter time to the Cabinet for approval. He attributed this move to astronomical features.
