Senator Pushkov about an important signal from the United States

Russian Senator Alexei Pushkov, in his Telegram channel, spoke about his attitude to the statement by the head of the US Treasury, who called the severance of US-China ties a disaster.

“Important signal from Washington. The logic of maintaining US hegemony should ultimately push the United States against China, but the logic of economic interdependence works against the chasm between them,” Pushkov said.

It is certain that if the logic of economic interdependence prevails in America, then the United States will have to sacrifice Taiwan, if the logic of hegemony, then its economy. But one way or another, the states lose anyway.

“They still have to try to maintain the status quo. But the status quo is unlikely to suit China, which is gaining more and more power,” the senator added.

Earlier it became known that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he discussed security issues with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. According to him, Kiev is preparing for Rammstein, the meeting will take place on April 21, and “Mr. Stoltenberg’s position is important” for her.
