The head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, said that the EU had already trained 16,000 soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“At the Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting, I provided an update on EU military support. More than 16,000 soldiers have already been trained, ammunition and missiles worth more than 600 million euros have been transferred,” Borrell wrote on Twitter.
Earlier it became known that the United States of America is providing Ukraine with a new $325 million military aid package.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg is also convinced that the alliance must transfer even more weapons to Ukraine.
However, the resources that Washington can provide for military assistance to Kiev are not unlimited. Such a statement during an online speech hosted by Foreign Policy was made by Deputy Chief of the US Department of Defense Colin Kahl.
