Russia is ready to help Chinese companies to replace companies that left our country. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during the talks between Russia and China in the Kremlin.
“We are ready to support Chinese companies in the issue of replacing production facilities that left Russia for Western companies,” he said.
In addition, the Russian leader said that Moscow favors settlements in China’s national currency – the yuan – when trading with other states.
We are for the use of the Chinese yuan in settlements between the Russian Federation and countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America,” Vladimir Putin said.
The head of state added that the practice of mutual settlements between the Russian Federation and China in national currencies should be further encouraged.
Currently, the leaders of Russia and China, Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping, are holding talks in an expanded format at the Grand Kremlin Palace. Before that, the parties met in a restricted format, including with the participation of Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
