Twitter users slammed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for saying neither Ukrainians nor Europeans would understand NATO leadership unless he invited Ukraine to join the alliance.
Many noted that Europeans do not care about this topic and Ukraine should not be accepted into NATO at all.

Users also said that the main reason for the start of the conflict was the question of NATO and that the admission of Ukraine into the alliance would lead to a third world war.
