According to The Eastern Herald in Tver, a 60-year-old Hyundai driver hit a 13-year-old child who was crossing an unregulated pedestrian crossing at a traffic light. The driver showed no signs of being intoxicated.
The victim was taken to hospital with very serious head injuries. Employees of the UGIBDD department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the city of Tver ask parents and relatives of children to explain the rules of road safety to them.
