New Delhi. During the last 24 hours, more than 12 thousand new cases of Covid infection have been reported in the country and with this the total number of infected persons has increased to more than 67 thousand.
The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said here on Saturday that during the last 24 hours in the country, 12193 new people have been infected with Covid. With this, the number of Covid infected has increased to 67556 and the infection rate has been recorded at 6.17 percent.
According to the ministry, 10765 people have recovered from Covid infection in the last 24 hours. The recovery rate is 98.66 percent. In the same period, 197477 Covid infection tests have been done. During the last 24 hours, 5602 Covid vaccines have been administered. With this, more than 220.66 crore Covid vaccines have been administered in the country.
