HBO nominates Russian Ksenia Sereda for the Emmy Awards

Ksenia Sereda will be nominated for the prestigious American award in the field of television – Emmy. The 28-year-old Moscow cinematographer, a cinematographer by profession, was awarded for filming the first episode of the hit series The Last of Us. She also worked on the second and seventh episodes of his first season.

According to TV critics, Sereda masterfully managed to create an impressive and exciting “picture”, on which the capture of mankind by a deadly virus unfolds. In the story, the main characters – builder Joel (Pedro Pascal) and teenage Ellie (Bella Ramsey) – fight for survival in a post-apocalyptic world, trying to reach their destination across the country. The greatest danger is zombie “clickers”, in which people have turned under the influence of a deadly fungus.

Previously, Sereda worked as a cameraman on the Russian TV series “Call DiCaprio!” (2018), feature films “Dylda” (2019), “Chernobyl” (2021), etc.
