The Panda House Park received large numbers of visitors during the first days of Eid Al-Fitr, and the Ministry of Municipality has set a visit to the Panda House Park during the days of Eid Al-Fitr, starting from 9 am until 5 pm, while the park continues to receive visitors until ten in the evening, and the Ministry confirmed that Tickets are booked only through the Aoun electronic application, in order to enjoy watching the giant panda pair (Suhail) and (Soraya) at the specified visiting times. The Panda House Park in Al Khor is considered one of the most important tourist destinations in the State of Qatar. The Panda House Park, which was built according to the highest international specifications and standards, is located near Al Khor Park, Al Bayt Stadium, Al Khor Municipality and Al Thakhira, and is about 35 km from the city of Doha. Among the important parks that will receive visitors during Eid Al-Fitr for the first time, the panda house is the first of its kind in the Middle East, and the largest in the world. The shape of the mountains is inspired by the topography of the panda’s native land, which is from the Minshan Mountains in China’s Sichuan Province. From the inside, the panda house contains two separate enclosures, an enclosure for the panda Suhail with an outdoor garden, and a garden for the panda Thuraya with an outdoor garden. Part of the garden was cultivated with 2814 bamboo plants, and the green areas are estimated at 53 thousand square meters. Some trees were brought from China’s forests and planted. Inside the house, in addition to a gift shop, a gallery, a restaurant (cafe), and an educational and recreational hall for children. There are also service facilities such as chapels and bathrooms for women and men. From the outside, there is a garden that contains four outdoor kiosks to serve visitors and is equipped with the latest systems and technologies such as a monitoring system. A sound and lighting system, and the garden contains a variety of different trees and shrubs.
