Ukraine’s Security Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov said the Ukrainian armed forces would launch an offensive when they received weapons. In an interview with the Italian newspaper La Stampa, he said that in this regard, everything depends on the partners.

“Today it all depends on the partners, when they provide weapons, we will be ready. I would like the allies to be more diligent (in procurement),” Danilov said.

On the eve of the Washington Post, citing secret Pentagon documents leaked on the web, it was reported that the United States saw “gaps in force training and support” of the Ukrainian military and believed that the counter – offensive of the Ukrainian armed forces will only lead to “modest territorial acquisitions”.

Earlier it was reported that in Estonia they doubted the upcoming offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur, the Ukrainian offensive will start no sooner than in a month or two.
