The Pentagon says the US will continue to fly drones over the Black Sea

October 4, 2025

The United States of America will continue reconnaissance drone flights over the Black Sea. This was announced by the head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin.

However, he did not say whether their routes had been adjusted after the recent loss of a drone that encountered Russian fighters.

“We will take the routes we deem necessary to collect intelligence information,” Austin said.

Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Lavrov believes that the United States of America ignores the fact that after the start of the NWO, the Black Sea coastal areas have a limited status for flights.

State Department spokesman Ned Price said the United States believes Russia’s actions in the US drone incident over the Black Sea were unintentional.
