Bangalore. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President J. P. Nadda will participate in different roadshows in Karnataka on Monday.
Shah reached Bangalore on Sunday night. According to the program list shared by the BJP, Shah will go to Mysuru to offer prayers at the famous Chamundeshwari temple. He will then travel by helicopter to Gundlupet in Chamarajanagar district from Mysuru and hold a road show from 1 pm to 2 pm. The home minister will then proceed to Sakleshpur where he will hold another road show from 3 pm to 4 pm to boost the morale of party workers. .
After coming back to Mysuru, he will leave for Hubballi in North Karnataka in the evening by a special flight. There he will attend the election executive committee meeting with party leaders at a luxury hotel and rest for the night. Meanwhile, BJP President J. P. Nadda will arrive in Bengaluru by a special flight in the afternoon and from here he will fly to Shidlaghatta in Chikkaballapur district by a helicopter.
Nadda will hold a road show at Shidlaghatta for one hour from 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm. He will then proceed to Hoskote to participate in another road show in Bengaluru Rural district from 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm. In the evening, he will attend a party meeting at Devanahalli in Bengaluru Rural district and discuss poll preparations. After dinner, he will return to Delhi by a special flight.
The ruling BJP is eyeing to come back to power in Karnataka. Voting for the assembly elections in Karnataka will be held on May 10 and the counting of votes will be done on May 13.
