New Delhi. The country’s leading car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) on Monday introduced its new compact SUV ‘Fronx’ in the domestic market. Its showroom price in Delhi is between Rs 7.46 lakh to Rs 13.13 lakh.
The Phoenix is offered with 1.2-litre petrol and one-litre turbo Boosterjet engine options. The 1.2L variant of this model is priced between Rs 7.46 lakh to Rs 9.27 lakh. The one liter Turbo Boosterjet engine variant is priced between Rs 9.72 lakh to Rs 13.13 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.
MSI had unveiled the Frox globally at the ‘Auto Expo 2023’ earlier this year. MSI Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Hisashi Takeuchi said in the statement that the company is proud to be at the forefront of understanding the diverse needs of customers and industry trends.
“Our success with Brezza is a testimony to this commitment. With the rapid change in customer preferences towards SUVs, we have recognized the dawn of a new sub-segment in the industry.”
“The introduction of Frox is part of our new approach towards driving the growth of this category,” said Takeuchi.
