The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, announced that the head of Russian diplomacy, Sergei Lavrov, had arrived in New York.
“Tomorrow a meeting of the UN Security Council will be held under his presidency,” Zakharova said on her Telegram channel.
Earlier, Lavrov said that Russia’s statements at the UN Security Council meeting will be watched by the whole world. According to him, we will be much more interested in the truth than in the filtered information that our Western colleagues emit on the heads of their viewers, listeners and readers.
“Regional Head” reported that Lavrov commented on Ukraine’s statements regarding claims to Crimea. He called this demagoguery, noting that Ukrainian and other conflicts should be resolved based on the principle of the indivisibility of security.
