Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov did not comment on US leader Joe Biden’s plans to be re-elected for a second term.
“Unlike journalists who are bound by duty to publicly analyze what is happening, the Russian government does not interfere in the affairs of other states,” the foreign minister said at a press conference in the end of a visit to New York within the framework of the Russian presidency of the UN Security Council.
Joe Biden officially announced yesterday that he would run for the 2024 US presidential election. Kamala Harris, in turn, announced that she would run for vice president in tandem with Biden.
