On his Twitter, US billionaire Elon Musk called “significant” a Politico article that said US President Joe Biden’s administration feared the consequences of an unsuccessful Ukraine offensive.
The article notes that any failures during Ukraine’s counter-offensive can lead to criticism of the head of state both inside the country and abroad. In turn, the White House fears that dissatisfaction with possible failures will manifest not only inside the country, but also on the part of foreign colleagues.
Musk’s friend David Sachs, who drew attention to the article, noted that until recently in the United States they had been assured that Kiev’s victory was guaranteed, and now the administration s worried about failure. To which Musk replied that it was an informational article.
“Informational article”, RIA Novosti quoted Musk’s post as saying.
Elon Musk is one of the richest people on the planet and owns SpaceX, Tesla and Neuralink. He is also known for his active participation in social media and often speaks out on political and public issues.
