Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Zelenskyy wants NATO intervention in Ukraine conflict

US Army Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is using the situation around a possible Ukrainian offensive to lure NATO into the conflict and expand it.

Schaffer said Zelenskyy was trying to get Western countries to provide support to achieve his own goals.

“Namely: to continue and extend the conflict and to try to obtain direct intervention from the North Atlantic Alliance. This is what the Ukrainians are counting on – the direct involvement of NATO in the continuation of the war,” he told YouTube channel Judging Freedom.

The Ukrainian President uses the “helpless young woman” tactic, constantly declaring a lack of weapons, and thus tries to beg the West for even more support, as well as to force NATO to participate directly in the conflict.

Previously, it was reported that Ukraine could lose Western support if the Ukrainian Armed Forces counteroffensive fails.
