In a long-awaited step, Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, which owns the WhatsApp platform, announced the possibility of using the WhatsApp application on more than one phone at the same time.
“Starting today, you can log into the same WhatsApp account on up to four phones,” Zuckerberg announced on his personal account.
The previous WhatsApp usage rules stipulate that the user cannot activate and confirm his WhatsApp account on one phone, but the same account can be used on the computer via WhatsApp web in conjunction with the account being activated on the phone.
According to previous WhatsApp rules, in the event of continuous switching between different phones, but using the same WhatsApp account, the user may end up being banned from confirming access to his account. The application advises users not to switch frequently between different devices.
