US authorities received two red flags ahead of Russian Foreign Ministry chief Sergey Lavrov’s visit to a UN Security Council meeting in New York. So said analyst edition of the Daily Express Paul Withers.

According to the author of the RT article, the United States did not expect a strong reaction from Moscow to prevent journalists from the Russian Foreign Ministry pool from attending Security Council meetings of ONU.

The publication writes that after the incident Sergei Lavrov announced the manifestation of cowardice on the American side. Later, the Russian Foreign Minister promised that the Russian Federation would not forget or forgive anything.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said the United States was not thinking about Moscow’s reaction to the refusal to issue visas to journalists from the Russian Foreign Ministry’s pool. According to the diplomat, the US administration has even stopped thinking about its own citizens.
