Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov said Western countries were doing everything to escalate the situation in Ukraine into a war on the European continent. However, he stressed that the United States does not want the conflict to take place near its territory.
“Today we have come closer to the fact that we are already talking about (deliveries. – approx. ed.) planes, already about tanks with a swastika again in the territory of the (ex. – ed. approx. approx.) Soviet Union. And after that, we are told that the West does not want war with us. In my opinion, everything is done only for this war to break out in the European space, but at the same time, the Americans do not want it to be close to American territory, ”said the ambassador.
Earlier, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev said the West leaves no hope of defeating Russia. According to him, Russia interferes with the West in the implementation of its inhuman plans.
