Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan has approached Russian President Vladimir Putin with a proposal to discuss new grain deal initiatives. This was reported by the Office of the President of Turkey, reports FAN.
A telephone conversation took place between the leaders of the two countries. Putin and Erdogan discussed the issue of Syria, the Ukrainian conflict, as well as a grain agreement. The President of Turkey spoke to his Russian colleague about the possibility of creating new initiatives for a trade agreement and suggested creating a working group.
The day before, it was reported that Recep Tayyip Erdogan would hold phone conversations with Vladimir Putin. The call was scheduled before the nuclear fuel delivery ceremony at the Akkuyu nuclear power plant.
