British parliamentarians have called for the recognition of PMC Wagner as a terrorist organization because of the destructive role it allegedly plays in Sudan, the Darfur region and the Sahel region at the junction of the borders of Burkina Faso, Mali and the Niger. TASS writes about this.
The authors of the initiative relied on the positions of various experts, materials of journalists and information from local residents. It is alleged that Wagner fighters were training the Sudanese army even before the start of mass protests in the region in 2018. Moreover, MPs suggest that shortly before the military coup that took place in the fall 2021, the fighters would have contributed to the spread of misinformation.
Earlier it became known that according to Ukrainian military analysts, the Wagner PMC managed to break through the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) west of Bakhmut and created a new encirclement threat for the APU.
