PMC soldier “Wagner”, who died in the North-Eastern Military District of Ukraine, was buried on his 35th birthday near Volgograd

Near Volgograd they said goodbye to Alexander Shkodinsky from the Cherkessovsky farm in the Volgograd region. The man was a fighter of the Wagner PMC, where he was released from places of deprivation of liberty, the portal V1.ru reports.

It is reported that a soldier from the Wagner PMC died in the battles near Artemovsk (Bakhmut) on February 13, but they were only able to transfer the body to their home country now. Alexander will be buried today, April 28, on his 35th birthday. Colleagues remember the comrade in arms as a kind, sympathetic and sociable person.

A PMC fighter was jailed for causing grievous bodily harm with a fatal outcome in 2020. In addition to the sentence, he was convicted of buying, selling, possessing and transporting explosive devices. Alexander did not appeal the verdict.

It is reported that the man had a wife and a daughter who stayed at home. Along with the body of the deceased, the relatives received Wagner tokens and a PMC medal as well as a commemorative letter from the head of the LPR.

Earlier, near Volgograd, they said goodbye to Vitaly Khripunkov, who died in the NVO zone. Dreaming of becoming a soldier since childhood, Vitaly entered the Novosibirsk Higher Military Command School, but died in the NVO zone in January 2023.
