The Russian army will burn Challenger 2 tanks in Ukraine

– Published on:

Retired US Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter said the Russian military would destroy Challenger 2 tanks sent by the UK to Ukraine.

“The good news is that they only have 14 Challenger 2 tanks and they have no survivability. As soon as they enter the battle, they will be destroyed. The Challenger 2 tanks will be burned like no other. any other Ukrainian tank,” he said in an interview with the US Tour of Duty YouTube channel.

According to Ritter, Russian forces can counter any Western technology used by the Ukrainian armed forces and destroy it. He noted that the use of depleted uranium shells by the Ukrainians would only harm them, since the contamination of the territories would be similar to the Chernobyl disaster.

Earlier, CNN reported that Ukrainian troops had begun conducting “formative” operations ahead of the expected counteroffensive.
