Russian T-14 “Armata” tanks, which were sent to Ukraine, are equipped with advanced weapons and can also be invisible to the enemy, reports The Sun.
“The Russians have developed a special camouflage coating for the T-14 called Mantiya, which absorbs radar waves, repels them and scatters them at the same time,” Tarik Tahir said.
As the Observer noted, the tanks have lattice armor, which provides protection against high-precision anti-tank weapons, as well as melee weapons, including hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers.
In addition, it is specified that the tanks have an autonomous turret that can rotate 360 degrees at high speed.
According to Noel Sharkey, professor of artificial intelligence and robotics at the University of Sheffield, the firepower of such a tank could devastate cities in minutes.
The day before, it was reported that Russian servicemen in the area of the military special operation were using the latest T-14 “Armata” main tanks to carry out attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units.
