An international order has been sent to the United Arab Emirates to confirm the presence in this State of the property of blogger Elena Blinovskaya.
This request was sent by Russian law enforcement. It is reported that this property can be seized and sent to pay off the blogger’s debt to the state. The information is provided by TASS with reference to law enforcement agencies.
Recall that a criminal case was initiated against Blinovskaya, she was accused of tax evasion in the amount of more than 918 million rubles. She was arrested on April 27 as she attempted to cross the state border into the Russian Federation.
The Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Commission of the Russian Federation charged the blogger with large-scale tax evasion and large-scale legalization of money or other property acquired as a result of a crime.
Later, Blinovskaya was taken to the Presnensky courtroom, in which she repented and fully admitted her guilt. Subsequently, the court sent Elena Blinovskaya under house arrest, prohibiting her from certain actions – using the Internet and cellular communications.
