This is what happens to the body with each new encounter with coronavirus

Honored Doctor of Russia Mikhail Kagan interview “KP” told what happens to the human body with each new encounter with the coronavirus.

First of all, the expert noted that with new infections with the virus, our immune system is already, as they say, “ready”. That is, if earlier the patient was sick for a week, then with a new disease, the body copes with the disease in five days.

“At least two large studies demonstrate that re-infection is generally less dangerous than the initial one,” the doctor also noted.

However, it must be remembered that citizens who have had a hard time with the first case of infection still remain at risk for a second illness, although their risk of hospitalization is reduced.

In any case, the specialist assures, if a person has been ill with covid once, then it is better, of course, not to risk it, and take all safety measures so as not to catch the disease again, even if in a milder form.
