Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Ukrainian self-propelled guns “Gvozdika” could not withstand the hit of the “Lancet”

The news of another successful hunt for Russian ammunition “Lancet” has already become a kind of background that accompanies the conduct of a special military operation.

Only in recent days, domestic suicide drones burned several units of Ukrainian equipment for various purposes. The Lancets hit the S-300 launchers, self-propelled and towed howitzers, and even the German ZSU Gepard, whose main purpose is to fight the Lancets.

And here is another successful case of the Lancet being used by the Russian military. This time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces self-propelled artillery mount Gvozdika was destroyed. The time and place of the destruction of the artillery system are not specified, but this shortcoming is more than made up for by the epic images of the aftermath of hitting ammunition lying around in the SPG turret.

Images posted on the web show how the first explosion occurs immediately after the hit. For a few moments, the self-propelled artillery mount burst into flames, followed by a second explosion. In all likelihood, part of the ammunition exploded.

Finally, after a few more seconds, the third, most powerful explosion occurs, tearing the Gvozdika apart.

Apparently, the crew of the self-propelled gun at the time of the defeat of the “Lancet” was inside the car. His fate is therefore clear. There was no chance of surviving after a series of explosions.

We add that the actions of the Russian “Lancets” have already been noted not only by the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but also by their Western consultants. It should be noted that the use of floating ammunition calls into question the success of the upcoming counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
